Jennifer Lawrence Doesn't Wear Makeup As She Takes Baby Cy, 10 Months, Out: Photo

actress Jennifer Lawrence ends the year with a sweet mother-son bonding time! The 32-year-old Hunger Games star was photographed without makeup while taking her 10-month-old son with her. Cy, on Tuesday, December 27, to a Los Angeles park where he got to ride down a green slide. Jennifer shares Cy with her husband, Cooke Maroneyand is very protective of him, so the rare sighting is a treat for fans.

In fact, she’s so determined to let Cy have a private life that she didn’t confirm his name or gender until seven months after the birth. She revealed that Cy is named after the American painter Cy Twombly, who is Cooke’s favorite artist, in a cover story interview for Vogue in October. She also explained why she doesn’t often talk about parenting. “It’s so scary talking about motherhood. Just because it’s so different for everyone,” the Oscar winner explained.

“If I say, ‘It was amazing from the start,’ some people will think, ‘It wasn’t great for me at the beginning,’ and feel bad,” she continued. “Luckily I have so many girlfriends who have been honest. They said, ‘It’s scary. You may not connect immediately. Maybe you don’t fall in love right away.” So I felt so ready to forgive.”

Jennifer has been spotted out in public with Cy a few times since he was born, but he’s usually wrapped up and hidden from the public eye. That makes her visit to the playground at the end of the year extra special: Cy’s face was on display (although HollywoodLife has redacted it to respect his privacy). During the outing, Cy wore colorful polka dot pants and a tan sherpa jacket with tan polka dots. Jennifer finished off his fit with black sneakers.

Meanwhile, Jennifer kept it casual in black leggings and a black t-shirt with a cream long-sleeved top over it. She had her brunette hair up in a messy bun and accessorised with layered necklaces.

The mother! star has prioritized spending time with her son since he was born and even took a brief break from the big screen to enjoy her time as a new mom. A look at her CV, however, did not reveal a turning point, because a drama film called Causeway was released that year. She was also spotted filming a new movie, No Hard Feelings, on a Long Island beach in September. Jennifer seems to be taking on the role of a working mom quite well!
