Lopez is releasing three projects about her famous search for love – an ambitious musical film titled This Is Me… Now: A Love Story, her album This Is Me… Now, and a documentary chronicling the making of the film and record documented, The Greatest Love Story Never Told.

In a lengthy interview with Variety, it is revealed that Lopez used love letters from Affleck when brainstorming her new album.

The documentary captures the moment when 51-year-old Ben meets a group of writers sifting through the letter collection.

For inspiration, Jennifer shared the Letters with her colleagues, a collection of writings that Affleck called “The Greatest Love Story Never Told.”

According to Variety reports, Affleck appeared “stunned” when he saw that the letters had been presented to his wife's colleagues.

“I really found the beauty, the poetry and the irony in the fact that it's the greatest love story never told.” “When you record it, it feels like you're telling it,” Ben said to the camera.

Jennifer and Ben rekindled their romance 18 years after calling off their engagement in 2003. They eventually tied the knot in Las Vegas and again in Georgia in 2022.

The Oscar-winning filmmaker supported his wife extensively in the making of her film, which she financed herself.

“He recognized that this was a surreal, fantastical journey that we were taking,” she explained.

Her husband advised Jennifer to keep the film “very tight” since she was bringing her own money into the project.

She recalled her husband explaining the filmmaking process to her: “Ben told me, 'You're going to write it and then you're going to film it,'” she recalled.

“When you're done, you're going to do a rough cut and see what it takes, and you're going to do three days of reshoots.” Then I said, “I can't do that.” that – I'm out of money!” But he said, “You're going to do reshoots for a few days and then go back and edit it.” And you're going to tell your story.

Affleck was shown the final cut of the film last year and he praised his wife's filmmaking efforts.

“He said, ‘You made a movie. To you. You made a great film. You did it,” she recalled.

“Honestly, I don't care what happens now.” “That's the biggest compliment I can get,” she said.

The film features an all-star cast including Jane Fonda, Sofia Vergara and Neil deGrasse Tyson, as well as supernatural elements including a “zodiac love counselor” who examines their romantic foibles.

The wild project raised eyebrows from her inner circle, who discouraged her from making the film, saying it might be a bad idea – but JLo went ahead and made it anyway.

Her long-time producing partner Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas also felt “uncomfortable” as a result.

During a late-night phone call from Lopez, JLo told Elaine that she would be contributing $20 million of her own money to finance the film.
