Jennifer López makes fun of her numerous weddings
With the title This Is Me Now, the new album is part of an ambitious project with which Jennifer Lopez will tell in a musical and audiovisual way her emotional life of the last 20 years, up to her reconciliation and marriage with her current husband, Ben Affleck.
“You could say I've been preparing for this day for two decades,” Lopez said of this release last Sunday during an interview with Variety from the Golden Globes carpet. “I think it might surprise some people. It is a kind of meta-story “about the path that must be taken to return from grief to love.”
“You could say I’m some kind of expert. “Not so much in marriages as in weddings,” she added, in a funny reference to the four times she's been married. “I don't take myself too seriously, I think life is a crazy journey where you fall and come back.” “You have to lift, you keep trying and never give up,” he added.
In the video, reminiscent of movie musicals, the singer is seen in various wedding dresses, dancing with three different friends who could represent her three ex-husbands, Cuban Ojani Noathe American choreographer Chris Judd and the singer Mark Anthony.
