Jennifer Lopez tells Britney Spears to ‘stay strong’ after the singer quoted JLo in her post

Jennifer Lopez had nothing but support for Britney Spears after the pop star quoted her in her latest Instagram post hailing “freedom” and “independence” after conservatoire.

‘Stay [strong]’ Lopez wrote when she re-shared Britney’s inspirational post along with a smiley face photo of the couple from 2001.

Britney, who regained control of her life last November after completing her 13-year conservatorship, was moved by JLo’s words in her new Netflix documentary.

“You’re looking right into this camera and you’re telling every little girl in the world to raise your voice and never give up to highlight injustice,” the 53-year-old singer said ahead of her Super Bowl halftime show in 2020.

Britney added the quote while defending her reasons for speaking up for herself and embracing her newfound freedom.

The post came shortly after her lawyer Mathew Rosengart slammed her ex Kevin Federline for sharing on his Instagram a video of the star disciplining her two children, claiming he not only had Britney’s privacy but her sons’ privacy as well hurt .

The former couple have been embroiled in a war of words in recent weeks, with Federline recently claiming that her sons are “embarrassed” by their mother’s behavior on social media, including her frequent nude posts.

“In a world where you have the right to use your feet…your heart…your mouth…your eyes…and your body…to express yourself however you want. DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE… for equality and equity!!!’ Britney wrote Friday’s impassioned post.

She then referred to her own freedom in recent months. “Don’t even touch, cover and hold against my will for 4 months!!!”

The actor then added Lopez’s quote into the mix, which read, “You’re looking right into that camera and telling every little girl in the world to get loud and never stop lighting up injustice!!!”

Britney then ended her statement by writing: “I’m here to share that freedom is a state of mind!!! GOD BLESS YOU ALL.”

She added a brief role of herself smiling for the camera while modeling two different outfits for her followers.

Also, Britney’s ex Kevin recently uploaded a now-deleted video to his own Instagram page. The two previously married in 2004 but divorced three years later in 2007 and share two children, Sean and Jayden.

The clip showed the singer arguing with her two sons, aged 11 and 12, as they all sat in a car.

Her attorney issued a public statement Thursday in direct response to Kevin uploading the video to his social media.

“Britney Spears is a brilliantly talented, extremely hardworking icon who is rightfully loved and respected by millions around the world,” Rosengart told Web on Thursday.

“Unfortunately, the same cannot be said of Mr. Federline, who inexplicably decided to give a gratuitous interview that hurt his children’s mother.”

Rosengart defended Spears, saying that despite the videos’ combative tone, she was “loyally supportive” of Sean and Jayden and “loves them dearly.”

“Whether he is aware of it or not, Mr. Federline not only violated the privacy and dignity of his children’s mother, he also undermined his own children, whose privacy he was supposed to protect,” the former federal prosecutor continued.

“Apart from his ITV interview, cruel, the bottom of the barrel, Mr Federline’s unwise decision to release an old video of his children aged 11 and 12 was cruel.”

Britney Spears’ ex-husband Kevin Federline says the conservatory saved her

He added that Spears was unaware she was included in the clips posted by her ex-husband.

“It was disgusting. Not only has he demeaned himself and violated societal norms, but he has created various legal problems for himself, including cyber harassment and cyberbullying laws, among others,” Rosengart claimed.

Federline then deleted his videos on Thursday morning, leaving his Instagram page completely blank again.
