Six months after Addison Timlin filed for divorce from her husband of three years, The Bear star Jeremy Allen White, the former couple have reportedly reached a custody agreement for their two children, Ezer Billie and Dolores Wild. According to court documents reviewed by multiple news outlets, the agreement requires White to be tested for alcohol every time he is with his daughters.
According to the reports, White and Timlin agreed to share custody provided White adheres to the terms of his sobriety. People claims that the agreement requires the actor to use a breathalyzer five times a week while taking care of his children and to repeat the test two or three times depending on the day of the week. If he fails multiple tests, he will lose custody, according to Page Six. According to People, White will also attend individual therapy and at least two Alcoholics Anonymous meetings weekly.
Although neither actor has spoken publicly about their split, one episode in the early days of White and Timlin’s split suggested that there was tension over child care: Shortly after Timlin filed for divorce, she referred to herself as “Single mother” in a mother’s house daily post on Instagram. She later changed the headline to read “Co-Parents.”
The Cut has reached out to White’s representation for comment and will update this post when we hear back.
