As she prepared to discuss the art of panning in a fireside chat, the 42-year-old actress, who serves as the chief creative officer of The Honest Company, which she founded in 2012, smiled as she posed for photos before doing so Stage.

During the event, she was seen speaking to Ayana Parsons, Senior Partner, Board & CEO Inclusion and Marketing Transformation at Korn Ferry, and author Arian Simone.
In a statement shared with Businesswire last month, the LA’s Finest star said she was “honoured to be a part of the Fearless Fund VC Summit” and excited to join “the incredible community of entrepreneurs and investors.”

The Fearless Fund is a venture capital fund created “by women of color, for women of color.”
In 2021, Alba opened the way to launch her multi-billion dollar wellness company, The Honest Company.
According to Alba, she was initially so convinced of The Honest Company that she had to tone down her vision while trying to get funding.
“Actually, right away I had the biggest vision, and then I had to make it happen,” she told People.

“I just knew in my heart that this company should exist.” If people knew they could take control of their health and well-being and make better decisions, why wouldn’t they? “The hardest part was probably putting it together.”
The initial urge to start her business required the most attention and consumed all of her free time.
“Every detail was important. So I didn’t sleep much, worked weekends and was obsessed,” she admitted.
The Fantastic Four stars formed The Honest Company in 2012 with Brian Lee, Sean Kane and Christopher Gavigan.
The company sells all kinds of baby, beauty, and wellness products, and advertises itself as eco-friendly with a list of over 2,500 chemicals it’s banned from using in its products.

In her interview, Jessica claimed her commitment to “facts and data” helped her win over those who initially had doubts about her vision.
“I love facts and data. So if there’s a naysayer who has a long list of why everything shouldn’t happen, I love asking questions.” “Oh really? Why couldn’t that work?” And then gather all the data you need to reach them and outperform them,” she said.
“It’s also in the way you deliver it,” she added. “Because if you say it with a smile, it’s just facts.”

The actress was also motivated to succeed in her latest venture because she wasn’t born into extreme wealth.
“I know what it’s like to live paycheck to paycheck and it’s not much fun,” Jessica shared. “So I just had a different mentality or a different drive.’ I had to find my own path.’
The Dark Angel advised others to start their own business and be willing to risk everything to succeed.
“I didn’t feel like I had anything to lose,” she said.
“No one even believed I could do it,” she added. “If you do something you haven’t done or have never done before, what do you really have to lose?”
