Jessica Simpson is daughter Birdie Mae’s life-size Barbie doll!
To celebrate her youngest daughter, who turned 3 on March 19, the 41-year-old singer and fashion designer threw a barbie and tutu party at her home on Sunday, according to a publication shared with PEOPLE.
Simpson’s flirtatious ensemble featured a hot pink blazer, hot pink mini dress and blush peep toe sandals with matching sunglasses, while the guest of honor wore a ruffled tutu dress with glitter and tulle in various shades. Their complementary looks were presented in an oversized Barbie doll box that read “You Can Be Anything”.
The adorable toddler’s friends wore their own special tulle skirts by Tutu Du Monde, in keeping with the theme. They also created their own one-of-a-kind bracelets with Little Words Project and had a glamorous makeover at a braid bar to top off the celebrations with tutu-inspired cotton candy by Twisted for Sugar.

“Birdie’s dream house party was cute! Can’t believe our girl is 3!” Simpson wrote alongside a carousel of snaps from Birdie’s fun day – including a photo of Simpson, the birthday girl, husband Eric Johnson, daughter Maxwell Drew, 9, and son Ace Knute, 8 .

Simpson then welcomed the team who helped design the celebration: “Thank you @balloonandpaper for captivating us all with stunning rainbow installations and @xobloom for the beautiful flowers. @whambamevents – thank you for creating the vision, talent and passion to work so hard to create the perfect day.”
“Birdie is everyone’s favorite person, the magic she casts feels like a bucket of glitter to everyone,” beamed Simpson. “The perfect day for the perfect bird. Thank you to everyone who made their wishes come true before she even blew out her candles.”

Simpson went on to say she “wish[es] Each of you could hang out with Birdie for 5 minutes just so he can laugh, listen to her stories because you don’t get a word in (put your mind at ease), and feel the abundance of joy radiating from her spirit.”
“No soul loves life more than Birdie and I am blessed to be her mother!” she concluded.
In a follow-up post by the mother-daughter duo, Simpson wrote, “That’s 3! Thank you @tutudumonde for the fancy fun tutu fairy tale celebration!”
She concluded, “Little Miss Birthday Bird fell asleep and snuggled up in her party tutu.”

Birdie already has her mother’s style, and Simpson can’t wait to pass on some of her most iconic pieces to her daughters.
“There are some amazing vintage pieces that I keep for Maxwell and Birdie. I also have some special pieces of jewelry that will be theirs when the time comes,” she told PEOPLE in October while discussing her fall collection. “Maxwell is already out of my shoe size, so unfortunately she never got to wear the Jimmy Choos. I wasn’t expecting that or I would have turned my stash into her closet!”
