She continued, “Since the third baby is an extreme vomit, I was fully prepared for this baby to vomit it all up again and dance the ‘sit up for 45 minutes after every meal, even during the night’ dance. Crazy.
Looking ahead, she added, “I’m about to have some more challenging days and weeks of work… BUT I’m still committed to breastfeeding ‘on demand’ AND not using a bottle or any form of pumping AND I KNOW THAT.” ALSO IS KIND OF IMPOSSIBLE (?) so I suck up every blissful food while I can.
She concluded, “I’m trying to be open and grateful for the time I’ve spent on the on-demand thing, while also being accepting of my own needs for my work.”

Alongside photos of Becker with his hand bandaged after being put in a cannula, Jessie explained:
‘Thank you again @uclh for being amazing…. Me and Becker just had a scary couple of nights in the hospital but he is recovering and he has been so well cared for.
“As it’s #maternalmentalhealthweek, I wanted to share and add that I was also taken care of so well that every nurse and doctor asked me, ‘How are you?’ …a nurse tried to soothe him for about two hours overnight without me feeding him so I could sleep – something she didn’t have to do.’
“When needles went into him – I was also asked if everything was ok. Sometimes the mother and her well-being get a little forgotten…”
