JetBlue: New Services From Orlando – MarketScreener.com

JetBlue today announced new non-stop service between Orlando International Airport (MCO) and two of the most popular destinations in the Caribbean.

JetBlue flies from Orlando to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic and Santiago, Dominican Republic. After the planned combination with Spirit, JetBlue expects 200 daily flights to Orlando by 2027.

“We are excited to share with you our plans to create more growth and more jobs in Florida through our merger with Spirit,” said Robin Hayes, CEO of JetBlue.

JetBlue estimates its plan would create about 350 new jobs for the airline’s Orlando airport operations.

“Punta Cana and Santiago are the top two destinations in the Caribbean, but options for getting there are limited for Orlando customers today,” said David Jehn, vice president, network planning and partnerships, JetBlue. “These new routes, and those made possible with Spirit, will allow us to offer more growth and connectivity. ‘
