First Lady Jill Biden returned to her hometown of Philadelphia on Sunday to watch her beloved Eagles play the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship Game.

She and President Joe Biden arrived from Camp David, Delaware, around noon, with the first lady wearing an Eagles-branded top.

The White House then announced that Dr. Biden will part ways with her husband to attend the Eagles game – marking her second visit to Lincoln Financial Field as First Lady.

She was spotted in a private party suite alongside NFL commissioner Roger Goodell. She later posted a photo from the game standing next to grandson Hunter, son of the late Beau Biden.

The Eagles won 31-7 and advanced to the Super Bowl.

dr Biden was born in New Jersey but grew up in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, a town just north of Philadelphia.

She took to the field with cancer survivors while performing the Eagles fight song Fly Eagles Fly as part of the Biden administration’s Cancer Moonshot initiative.

The moment made headlines because a manipulated clip that appeared to show the crowd booing the first lady soon began circulating the internet.

It later turned out that the video had been manipulated.

Philadelphia sports fans have a reputation for hostility thanks to a 1968 incident in which Eagles fans were so angry at the team’s poor season that they booed Santa Claus.

Biden returned to Philadelphia in November to compete in Game Four of the World Series — attending a Stand Up To Cancer salute and paying tribute to Beau Biden and late minor league Phillies pitcher Corey Phelan.

The die-hard Phillies fan announced their presence at the game during a brief moment of silence throughout Citizens Bank Park as spectators held up tribute cards.

dr Biden has read “Pop – Jim’s Dad” and “Beau + Corey”. Pop was her sister Kim’s father-in-law.

Beau Biden died of brain cancer in 2015, while Phelan died a few weeks ago after a battle with a rare and aggressive cancer called T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Phelan, 20, played for the minor league team that drafted into the Phillies.

One photo showed Biden appearing to wipe away a tear after the solemn moment.

She wore a World Series jacket with “BIDEN” written on the back, a souvenir of Philly’s final run at the championship.

Biden later reappeared on the Jumbotron screens, with cameras cropping to her after showing a trio of celebrities attending the game: Bruce Springsteen, Miles Teller and Kate Upton.
