Jim Cornette spoke out on a variety of topics during his Jim Cornette Experience, including Madcap Moss.
Cornette gushed about Moss’ looks, his in-ring skills and overall athleticism as he navigates WWE.
“But next was the NXT North American Title, which Solo Sikoa just won in what appears to be the last NXT program he’ll be in because he’s on the main roster now. And he defended himself against old Mosh Pit Jones. Who now, except they still call him Madcap Moss but he looks like a freaking star now because they took that silly outfit off him.
And he’s jacked up and he’s good looking and his athleticism shows [got potential], why they put him next to Baron Corbin and this ridiculous gimmick you know, it’s been so long since they started it, that’s how far they’ve left this guy in his wrestling career. Because no one would care, take it seriously, pay attention to it, whatever. So these two guys can go because Solo is good, they look great. And it’s still the same six guys on this show.
I remember Mid South Wrestling used to have more variety on the schedule. We had 18 guys in the area, they have 200 under contract and we’re seeing the same six. Hopefully they change madcap in the near future. They can go, they looked great, Sammy interfered enough that Moss finally chased him away and then turned around and ran into a Superkick 123. So they don’t seem to want to rush Moss, but at least they got him to or let him get rid of his braces.”
