Jim Edmonds says ex-Meghan King gave him ‘little nudges for three years’: ‘It’s so freaking annoying’

About that. Jim Edmonds opened up about ex-wife Megan King — and claimed the former Real Housewives of Orange County star has told “lies” about him since their split in 2019.

“I don’t know if the truth has come out of her mouth since then [my wife Kortnie O’Connor] and I were dating,” said Edmonds, 52, during the Wednesday, Jan. 18 episode of the Hollywood Raw podcast. “I can give you a whole list, if not every three years, of outright lies.”

Former MLB star and wife Kortnie O’Connor — who he married in September 2022 — went on to tell her side of the story about several allegations made by the 38-year-old “Intimate Knowledge” podcast host, including Edmond’s remarriage on her birthday.

“It’s just little bumps like that. It’s been going on non-stop for three years and it’s freaking annoying,” he said, adding that he didn’t even know the rumor existed until “two or three weeks later” after he got home from his wedding in Italy.

Edmonds also addressed the Missouri native’s temporary protection order against him, calling the allegations in the order “completely false.”

O’Connor added: “It was never served to us. Nobody came here. … We had no idea.”

Edmonds and King wed in 2015 and split four years later amid rumors that the California native had been unfaithful. He denied the cheating allegations at the time, telling Us Weekly, “Unfortunately, I was misjudged. I had inappropriate conversations with this person. At no time was there a relationship or physical contact. Absolutely none.”

In Wednesday’s podcast, Edmonds once again shut down rumors of extramarital affairs, calling it “embarrassing” and an “absolute joke.”

Before their split, the former St. Louis Cardinals player and Bravo star welcomed daughter Aspen, 6, and twin sons, 4, Hayes and Hart, who had previously been diagnosed with periventricular leukomalacia. (Edmonds also shares a son, Landon, and a daughter, Sutton, with Ex Allison Jayne Raski and daughters Hayley and Lauren with his first wife, Lee Ann Horton, who died in 2015 after battling a brain tumor.)

The story goes on

In October 2020, King announced that Hart had also been diagnosed with cerebral palsy.

“Even though he’s the same boy, I expected it to hit me hard. But it didn’t,” she wrote in a blog post at the time. “It didn’t hit me hard at all. In fact, I felt relieved. … This is the once terrifying diagnosis I knew was coming ever since I googled the right thing that fateful day and it hit me like a truck: CP. I knew it was CP since Hart was a few months old. I just knew.”

King went on to write that CP is defined as “cerebral palsy,” calling it a “highly misleading and ridiculous term.”

On Thursday, however, Edmonds claimed that while Hart had periventricular leukomalacia, he had never been formally diagnosed with cerebral palsy.

“I think, well, okay, tell the truth then. Don’t tell sad stories all the time. Just be honest,” he said.

Edmonds, who shared he and King are now co-parents through a nanny, also questioned his ex-wife’s dating life — the TV personality had dated Trevor ColhounBachelorette Graduate mike johnson, Will Roos and was married briefly President Joe Bidens nephew Cuff Owens – claims his “poor kids” will grow up “thinking every guy is mean”.

When asked if he saw “a path to peace with her anytime soon,” the former Chicago Cub player replied, “Not while she’s talking.”
