Jim Edmonds said he was sick of ex-wife Meghan King saying “constant lie after lie after lie” about him.
“It’s just little bumps like that. It’s been three years straight and it’s so freaking annoying,” the former professional baseball player, 52, claimed on Wednesday’s episode of the Hollywood Raw Podcast.
When asked if Edmonds sees a “pathway to peace” with the “Real Housewives of Orange County” alum, he quipped, “not while she’s talking.”
“I don’t know if the truth has come out of her mouth since she and I started dating,” Edmonds claimed. “I can give you a whole list, and if not, [it’s been] every three years only outright lies.”

Edmonds told his side of the story about the multiple allegations King has leveled against him – including claiming that they were called “completely false” in a restraining order against him.
“It was never served to us,” Kortnie O’Connor, Edmonds’ current wife, claimed on the podcast. “Nobody ever came here… We had no idea.”

The St. Louis Cardinals Hall of Fame member also claimed that the 38-year-old King exaggerated his 4-year-old son Hart’s cerebral palsy diagnosis so fans could “identify” with him.
“I think, well, okay, tell the truth then. Don’t tell sad stories all the time. Just be honest,” he said, while clarifying that their son has periventricular leukomalacia — but has never been officially diagnosed with cerebral palsy.

Edmonds explained that the exes – who also share 5-year-old daughter Aspen and Hart’s twin Hayes – have reached a point where they have a nanny who handles the children’s face-to-face exchanges.
“She made it so difficult for me to even co-parent with her because of the things she says about me,” said O’Connor, 38. “She embarrassed me, humiliated me . It’s like how many slaps do you take in the face before you say just enough?

Elsewhere in the podcast, Edmonds again denied reports that he cheated on King with their nanny, calling the allegations an “absolute joke”, “false” and “embarrassing” for everyone involved.
“Anything that comes out of her mouth is a lie to us,” Edmonds claimed, and O’Connor added, “I think she thinks she’s on a reality show 24/7, so she doesn’t care what comes out of her mouth – it’s just an act.”

King and Edmonds separated in 2019, but their divorce was not finalized until May 2021.

Edmonds and O’Connor tied the knot in Italy in September 2022.
Meanwhile, King married President Joe Biden’s nephew, Cuffe Biden Owens, in October 2021. The marriage was short-lived as they separated two months later. However, she has since moved on and recently gushed about having the “most incredible sex” with a new suitor.
