When Jinder Mahal returned to NXT, he quickly joined Indus Sher. But that wasn’t all he showed up for – just a week ago he kicked NXT Champion Bron Breakker square in the face and claimed a shot at the title.

He did so while claiming fans were turning on Breakker. Maybe plant some seeds for a round?

The match took place in the main event of this week’s episode of NXT and there was absolutely no sign of it. Additionally, the Creed Brothers showed up just before the fight to take out Veer Mahaan and Sanga to ensure it was a fair 1v1 match.

You know what that meant.

Mahal had his moments, but like so many before him, he couldn’t lash out when struck with a spear. Nothing will stop Breakker vs. Carmelo Hayes at Stand & Deliver on April 1st. Sure enough, he was there to end the show briefly.
