Singer João Gomes performed on the main stage of Parque do Povo at São João 2023 in Campina Grande, Agreste da Paraíba late Wednesday night (7). On stage, the artist made his debut at the event and also shared the news of the pregnancy of his first child with influencer Ary Mirelle, in which the couple announced on their social networks this Wednesday that they are becoming parents.
“Hello Parque do Povo, this is where I’m going to celebrate that I’m going to be a father,” the man from Pernambuco celebrated right after the start of the show, singing the song “Deusa de Itamaracá”.

Before taking the stage, João Gomes expressed anticipation of singing for the first time in São João de Campina Grande and praised the popular culture of the June celebrations in the city.
“I’ve been looking forward to coming here. [Campina Grande]for this expression, which is São João de Campina Grande, so we thank God from the bottom of our hearts that it is here,” said the man from Pernambuco.

João Gomes’ show’s repertoire included hit songs of the singer’s career, but also included oldfashioned forró, piseiro and plenty of MPB. From the hits of the singer from Pernambuco, the audience could sing “Dengo”, “Meu Pedaço de Pecado” and “Aquelas Suas” out loud, as well as “Deusa de Itamaracá”, which opened the singer’s show.

In the middle of the show, João Gomes also shared with the Forrozeiros present in the Parque do Povo a poem he had written precisely for that day, which marked the announcement of the pregnancy of his first child with the influencer Ary Mirelle and the debut in São João de Campina Big.
“From Campina Grande to Caruaru, we’re showing what the Northeast is like with these songs, and because we understand each other as people, we know what’s going on. When I saw its culture in the Northeast, the Sertão showed me that life is hard, but São João has blessed us with joy. This is pure magic party and I’m very happy to be here for the big day,” wrote João Gomes.
At the end of the show, João Gomes said goodbye to the audience, confirming his joy at the first performance in São João de Campina Grande and of course the pregnancy of his first child. “Today is one of the most special days of my life. I’ll see dad!”said the man from Pernambuco and ended his show in Campina Grande.

Crowded Parque do Povo and affection from the fans
On Wednesday night (7) a crowd flocked to the Parque do Povo to follow the attractions and especially the concert by the Pernambuco singer João Gomes. The party gates were closed a few minutes before the singer took the stage, reaching the maximum capacity of the hall. The organizer company did not provide any information about the exact number of people present in the Parque do Povo.
Fans of different ages were in the audience to watch João Gomes’ show and among the posters placed in the middle of the crowd, one stood out. Prepared by Clarice Portela, the young woman, who lives in Campina Grande, squeezed between the railings separating the stage from the attending audience at the party, looking for a gap amidst the crowd to demonstrate her love written on cardboard.
“I love João Gomes,” read the Clariceproduced poster.

For the g1the fan from Pernambuco explained that she wanted to show the artist all her affection for him and saw a poster as a way to express her admiration and even be noticed by João Gomes.
“I love him very much and I wanted to do something to show him,” Clarice said.
Shows by Eric Land and Luan Estilizado also moved the evening at PP
Before the show by João Gomes, singer Eric Land took to the main stage of Parque do Povo. The singer from Ceará entered the stage at around 9 p.m. and delighted the audience with his songs.
Eric Land’s songs that were in the repertoire included “Chorei na Vaquejada”, “Vaqueira” and “Botadão”. On stage, Eric Land entertained the audience with a lively show and before the show commented on how important it is for his career to be able to perform in São João de Campina Grande.
“To be on a big stage like this is a dream come true. “We see it’s on the right track,” said Eric.

After João Gomes’ presentation, Luan Estilizado performed at Parque do Povo. Raised in Campina Grande, the son of singer Amazan brought the public a repertoire full of hits from his career, such as “É Só Oi e Tchau”, “Erro Que Dá Certo” and “Galera do Interior”. Luan’s show lasted until 3 a.m.
