One of the biggest festivals in Brazil today, the John Rock is famous for honoring national artists both established and rising stars and the 2022 edition has kept the tradition alive. The festival brought together around 75,000 people and was marked by the presence of Titansbut not only those of the band: Erasmus Carlos, Humberto Gessinger, red baron and many others made the ground of Ribeirão Preto tremble and guaranteed unforgettable moments.
The presentations were sublime love speeches, like back then Djonga sang “Leal” and Nando Rice and a pity sang “Na Sua Estante”, but were also a stage for protests against the President Jair Bolsonaro (PL). However, nothing was stronger than the feeling of meeting some artists they had not seen since the new coronavirus pandemic.
