This month’s meeting will “further strengthen the close ties between our nations,” the White House said.
Downing Street issued a similar statement, saying Mr Biden’s upcoming visit reflected “the strong ties” between the UK and US.
“The Prime Minister looks forward to welcoming President Biden to the UK later this month,” said a No 10 spokesman.
“This reflects the strong relationship between the UK and the US, building on a series of bilateral visits and meetings earlier this year.

Earlier in the year, Mr Biden stopped in Belfast to mark the 25th anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement and met briefly with Mr Sunak.
After Great Britain, the US President will travel to Vilnius in Lithuania for the NATO summit on July 11th and 12th.
On his final day, he will visit Helsinki, Finland, for a US-Nordic leaders’ summit where talks are expected to focus on the war between Russia and Ukraine.
