Joe Biden 'pioneered' foreign deals with China and others, says Hunter's former business partner Tony Bobulinski: He sold 'his brand' while being 'buffered' by a 'complex scheme' to maintain plausible deniability, says one key impeachment witness

Hunter Biden's former business partner Tony Bobulinski, who has since turned against him, says Joe Biden was the “enabler” of his family's lucrative foreign business ventures.

He plans to tell Republicans leading the impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden today that the president has “facilitated” deals with China and other foreign adversaries, according to his opening statement, obtained by .

“I want to be clear: From my direct personal experience and what I subsequently learned, it is clear to me that Joe Biden was 'the brand' sold by the Biden family,” he says in his opening statement.

He goes on to say that Joe was “more than just a participant” in his family's business, but rather “an enabler, despite being buffered by a complex system of maintaining plausible deniability.”

Bobulinski appears today before impeachment investigators on the House Oversight and Judiciary Committee in testimony that is expected to take up most of the day.

“The Biden family business was Joe Biden, period,” has learned he will say. He also plans to detail how Chinese energy company CEFC “successfully attempted to infiltrate and compromise the Obama and Biden White House.”

Bobulinski, a Navy veteran, worked with Hunter Biden and his uncle Jim — Joe's brother — in 2017 to form the SinoHawk Holdings joint venture with CEFC.

In 2020, Bobulinski released a May 2017 email detailing a planned capital allocation for a Chinese investment.

The cryptic message said 20 percent of the winnings would be split, with 10 percent going to “Jim” – likely Hunter's uncle Jim Biden – and “10 percent held by H for the Big One.”

Bobulinski claimed that “the big guy” was Joe Biden, who was vice president until January 2017.

He will also tell impeachment investigators that “it is also no coincidence” that CEFC used the Biden family’s “weakest link,” Hunter, to smuggle in tens of millions of dollars.

Additionally, he says he has “never” been contacted by the Justice Department, the FBI, the IRS or any other law enforcement agency regarding his allegations.

Bobulinski previously claimed that the FBI ignored evidence about the Biden family's alleged crimes and “altered history” by suppressing Hunter Biden's laptop history before the 2020 election.

In a bombshell interview with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson in 2022, Bobulinski brought up a voicemail that he said proves Joe was well aware of Hunter's deal with CEFC.

Joe Biden called Hunter in December 2018 and said he wanted to talk to him after reading a New York Times article about Hunter's dealings with Chinese oil giant CEFC.

Files on Hunter's abandoned laptop, previously published by , show he struck a deal worth millions of dollars with the Chinese company.

The 2018 Times article noted that CEFC Chairman Ye Jianming had been arrested in China and his lieutenant Patrick Ho was convicted of bribery.

After seeing the story online, Joe called Hunter and left a voicemail saying he was “in the clear.”

“I liked the article posted online that will be printed in the Times tomorrow.” “I think you made yourself clear,” Joe said in the voicemail.

The message contradicts the president's repeated denials that Joe ever spoke about it or that he was involved in Hunter's foreign dealings.

Hunter's attorney, Abbe Lowell, has claimed Bobulinski lied to the FBI.

Late last year, Hunter asked U.S. Attorney for Washington, D.C. Matthew Greaves to investigate his former associate, saying Bobulinski intentionally misrepresented his ties to the Biden family.

He is accused of denigrating “the character and reputation of.” [Hunter] Biden and his family and to boost his own self-esteem.”

IRS whistleblowers Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler, who have testified that the federal investigation into Hunter was tainted by political influence, also claimed that Joe Biden is “the big guy.”

Next week, Republicans will hear from President Joe Biden's brother James on February 21 and from Hunter himself on February 28.

Republicans summoned the couple to testify and threatened them with contempt charges before they agreed to testify behind closed doors.
