Joe Biden's granddaughter Naomi has jumped to his defense, attacking Jesse Watters for “crossing the line” after branding the president a “bad father.”

In a bizarre tirade, Watters, who in 2018 left his wife of nine years and the mother of their twin daughters for a Fox News producer 13 years his junior, attempted to link Biden's border policy to child-rearing during a broadcast from New Hampshire to bring connection.

“I knew Biden was borderline bad because he's not the best father.” “The man can't say no to his own son,” the Watters' World host said, referring to Naomi's Hunter Biden Father.

“He can't say, 'Stop!'” “He can't face consequences for his actions, and that's what you need. “You need someone in charge at the border to tell you that this will not be allowed,” he continued.

Naomi Biden, 30, gave up This is crossing the line. I'm not sure how this man can call himself a reporter, and I hope he never has a son or daughter struggling with anything. “You can disagree with his politics without being so ugly.”

Biden was widely criticized by conservatives for his consistent support of his son.

“My son, like many others, had a drug problem.” He overcame it. He fixed it. He worked on it. And I'm proud of him,” he told Donald Trump on the debate stage in 2020.

In 2018, it was revealed that Watters' wife Noelle, mother of his twin daughters, had filed for divorce after he admitted an affair with Fox News producer Emma DiGiovine. The divorce was finalized in 2019.

Watters and DiGiovine tied the knot in December 2019. Their son was born in 2021, followed by a daughter in April 2023.

Watters made a chilling confession on the show about how he began stalking DiGiovine, defusing her attempts so he could offer her a ride home.'

“When I tried to get Emma to go out with me, the first thing I did was let the air out of her tires,” he said on The Five in April 2022. “She couldn't go anywhere, she needed a ride. I said, 'Hey, do you need a ride?' She got right in the car.”

Watters didn't mention that he was married at the time, adding, “It was a happy ending.”

Naomi Biden has become increasingly outspoken politically as the 2024 presidential campaign gets underway.

Just two weeks ago, Naomi faced off against Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene after the Trump supporter Georgian claimed that Hunter had “fled” from a House Oversight and Accountability Committee hearing.

“Actually, everyone seems to have fled the scene when she started lying,” Naomi wrote.

In November 2023, Naomi branded President Barack Obama's closest adviser, David Axelrod, an “idiot” after the strategist suggested that President Biden should not run in 2024.

“I look forward to proving the political pundits wrong again,” she wrote Monday.

She then retweeted a post on

“Disingenuous – you predicted his downfall and doubted his resilience from the start.” There's a difference between claiming an opinion and enjoying a platform to demean, AND between journalism and being the idiot with the microphone . “Who would have thought he would win,” she wrote in February of that year.

In the summer of 2022, Naomi told Republican Senator Ron Johnson that if lawmakers voted for a gun reform bill, she would come to his office and call her father, Hunter, to speak with him.

“.@RonJohnsonWI, if you vote for stricter gun control measures, I will personally come to your office and call my father on speakerphone so you can confess your undying love to him directly,” she wrote on Twitter.

Johnson is one of Hunter's harshest critics, criticizing the president's son on a range of issues, including his business dealings and his intelligence details. He has accused Hunter of profiting financially from Joe Biden's time in public office.

Last week, federal prosecutors on Tuesday asked a judge to reject Hunter's attempts to dismiss the weapons charges against him. They revealed that investigators last year found cocaine residue in the bag where the president's son held his gun.

As they pushed for the case against Biden's son to continue, prosecutors said “the evidence against him is overwhelming” and pushed back against Hunter Biden's claims that he is being singled out for political reasons.

In addition to the “incriminating statements” Hunter made in his 2021 memoir about his drug use, investigators found a white, powdery substance on the brown leather bag where he kept the gun after he stole it from the state police safe last year had drawn, prosecutors wrote.

An FBI chemist determined it was cocaine, they said.

“To be clear, investigators literally found drugs in the bag where the defendant had stored his gun,” prosecutors said.

Hunter has pleaded not guilty to lying about his drug use in October 2018 on a gun purchase form that he kept for about 11 days.

He has admitted that he was struggling with a crack cocaine addiction during that time in 2018, but his lawyers said he did not break the law. Hunter Biden has since stated that he has stopped using drugs and is working on turning his life around.

His lawyers did not immediately respond to requests for comment on prosecutors' filings Tuesday.

Those criminal cases could have been avoided with a deal reached last year, but a deal with federal prosecutors fell through, and now the president's son faces the spectacle of a trial this year while his father is on the campaign trail.

He was charged after the deal fell through when a judge who was supposed to sign the deal instead asked a series of questions about the deal.

He had initially agreed to plead guilty to tax offenses and would also have avoided prosecution on weapons charges if he had stayed out of trouble for two years.

It was the culmination of a years-long investigation by federal prosecutors into the president's son's business dealings.

His lawyers have asked the judge to dismiss the gun case, saying he was “selectively accused” of improper political agendas.

They have argued that special counsel David Weiss — who also serves as U.S. attorney for Delaware and was originally appointed by Trump — “succumbed to political pressure” to bring tougher charges even as Trump and other Republicans have criticized the deal.

But prosecutors said there was no evidence to support his claim that the executive branch led by his father, President Biden, and its Justice Department, led by the attorney general appointed by his father, authorized the prosecution by the U.S. attorney and special counsel Advisors of their choice for an “improper political purpose.”

“The allegations in this case are not fabricated or because of Trump – rather, they are the result of the defendant's own decisions and were made despite, not because of, any outside noise from politicians,” prosecutors wrote.

Hunter's criminal trial also comes alongside Republicans in Congress' so far unsuccessful attempts to link his business dealings to his father.

Republicans are conducting an impeachment inquiry against Biden, alleging he was involved in an influence peddling plot with his son.

But House Republicans on Tuesday halted plans to hold Hunter in contempt of Congress for defying a congressional subpoena in their ongoing investigation, citing negotiations with his lawyers that could end the standoff.

There is no evidence so far that the president abused his role or accepted bribes in his current or previous office, although questions have arisen about ethics surrounding the Biden family's international business dealings.
