Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner appear to be making progress toward resolving their divorce.
The Jonas Brothers musician and the Game of Thrones actor have agreed to discuss the details of their split privately, The Times confirmed on Friday, just days after the former couple reached a temporary custody agreement to care for their two children had.
Jonas has filed to dismiss the custody portion of their divorce proceedings in Florida because that portion of the case has been resolved and “the remainder of the case has been dismissed to see if the parties can resolve it on their own,” a Jonas spokesman said Friday.

Page Six reported Friday that the musician and actor had reached “various agreements” and planned to “seek an amicable resolution of all issues.” However, the intention to divorce remains.
In court documents filed Tuesday in New York City and reviewed by The Times, Jonas and Turner agreed to share custody of their two children, splitting their time between the United Kingdom and the United States and alternating with her English mother will live American father.
“Following a productive and successful placement, we have agreed that the children will spend equal time in loving homes in the US and the UK. We look forward to being great co-parents,” Jonas and Turner said in a joint statement.

The custody agreement came about two weeks after the “Dark Phoenix” star sued Jonas for allegedly keeping their children in the U.S. without their consent, withholding the girls’ passports and refusing to return the children to England.
A spokesman for Jonas denied that the musician had “kidnapped” the children, accused Turner of trying to permanently remove the children from the United States and urged the actor to “reconsider her tough legal position and be more constructive and private.” to proceed.” “
Jonas filed for divorce from Turner last month after four years of marriage, saying their relationship was “irretrievably broken.” His petition states that the couple signed a prenuptial agreement, which he expects to be enforced when it comes to financial support for their children.

Not long after the filing, the stars released a joint statement addressing speculation about their split.
“After four wonderful years of marriage, we have decided together to end our marriage amicably,” they said in their joint Instagram posts. “There are many speculative narratives as to why, but it is truly a shared decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our desire for privacy for ourselves and our children.”
A representative for Turner did not immediately respond to The Times’ request for comment Friday.
