For the past few weeks, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh has provided an unupdated update on quarterback Lamar Jackson essentially every Monday.

With the postseason starting this week and Baltimore set to return to Cincinnati for the second straight Sunday, it’s still unclear whether or not Jackson will be able to train.

“Well, like I said, I don’t really have an update to share with you right now,” Harbaugh said in his news conference Monday. “We’re going to put out an injury report on Wednesday – because I won’t have a chance to speak to you until then – that’s about where we are at.”

Later in the media session, Harbaugh was asked how Jackson was doing since the media has been unable to speak to him since the quarterback sustained a knee injury on December 4.

“Lamar was in high spirits. He was. He worked super hard,” Harbaugh said. “He’s out there again today. I mean, I don’t look at training – he’s with the coaches and hopefully has reached the point where he can train soon. I mean, that’s what we’re all hoping for. If we have something to report about it, we will. That’s just the truth.

“But he was great. He is always in a good mood. He wants to play – no question. That is my feeling. You know I love Lamar. i love lamar I love everything about Lamar – always have and always will. He works hard and is in good spirits.”

The Ravens selected Anthony Brown for the Week 18 matchup against the Bengals as backup quarterback Tyler Huntley is battling tendinitis in his shoulder. As Harbaugh said, we’ll see who’s on the field when Baltimore officially begins its week of training on Wednesday.
