Comedian John Mulaney has announced a solo standup comedy tour titled “John Mulaney in Concert.”

The Emmy-winning comedian, 41, kicks off his latest tour on November 2 in Kingston, New York.

John – who enjoyed a beach day with his family this summer – will visit cities across the US, including Los Angeles, New Orleans and Tampa, before concluding his tour and 2023 in Phoenix on New Year’s Eve.

The new tour follows his April Netflix special “Baby J,” for which he was nominated for two Emmys in the categories “Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-Recorded)” and “Outstanding Writing For A Variety Special.”

Baby J opened up about Mulaney’s experience with addiction, his intervention, and his process of getting and staying sober.

He has one child with his partner Olivia Munn.

He also has three previous Netflix specials: “The Comeback Kid,” “Kid Gorgeous,” and “John Mulaney & the Sack Lunch Bunch,” all streaming on Netflix.

Mulaney was a contributor to Saturday Night Live, where he, along with Bill Hader, is credited with creating the recurring Stefon character.

The comedian spoke openly about his long history of struggles with drug addiction and alcoholism and often used his personal stories in his performances.

In 2014, the Documentary Now author said he had been sober since September 2005.

In December 2020, he checked into a rehab program for cocaine, alcohol and prescription drug abuse.

In 2021, he admitted that he checked into rehab in September 2020, but left the program in October 2020 to host SNL and relapsed afterwards.

His friends – including Seth Meyers, Natasha Lyonne, Fred Armisen, Bill Hader and Nick Kroll – staged an intervention that led to his trip to rehab in December 2020.

Mulaney separated from his wife of seven years, Annamarie Tendler, in May 2021 and announced in July of that year that he was expecting a baby with his current girlfriend, Olivia Munn, 43.
