According to TMZ, Johnny signed the new deal to continue hosting the fragrance after fashion photographer Greg Williams attended one of Johnny and Jeff Beck’s gigs in Paris.

The publication claims that Johnny did a photoshoot with Greg before and after the concert, with the resulting artwork to be used in a new Dior ad campaign.

Dior stood by Johnny during his most recent trial, and sales of the cologne he’s promoting, Sauvage, rose at retailers, the Wall Street Journal reported in early June.

The publication states that both the cosmetics retailer and its competitor Ulta have seen increasing sales for Depp’s Cologne, making it one of their best-selling fragrances online.

Meanwhile, Johnny is still embroiled in legal battles with his wife Amber Heard – while the actress fights to overturn a June court settlement against her.

He was awarded $10.35 million in damages after a defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife.

But the Aquaman actress has appealed to have the award overturned two months after her payment request.

Amber was denied a trial request a week earlier, arguing that a juror should not have had standing to prosecute in the case because his subpoena was for his father, who had the same name and lived at the same address.

And since the appeal, Depp has also appealed the $2million (£1.7million) in compensation he was ordered to pay her.

Following their divorce, the actor reportedly found himself in financial turmoil as he sold a large chunk of his sizable real estate portfolio.

In 2016, he listed his four-story Venetian mansion overlooking the Grand Canal for $10.8 million — after paying $13 million for it in January 2011.

In 2017, he sold the last of his five LA penthouses, which raised a whopping $10.88 million — about $2 million below the collective asking price.

And it didn’t stop there: He let go of his Kentucky ranch-style pad in 2020 for almost half its cash value — as it raked in just $1,350,000 despite being reported at $2.33 million became.

While his downtown Los Angeles penthouse he shared with Heard also went on the market last month for $1.76 million.

Johnny also recently sold his debut artwork collection, selling 750 limited edition pieces for a total of a whopping $3.6million (£3million) via Castle Fine Art.
