Johnny’s fans feel sorry for Amber’s attorney

Amber Heard’s attorney is drawing sympathy from Johnny Depp supporters, who claim the actress’ attorney looks ‘weary’ amid reports that Heard had screaming fights with her legal team outside of the courtroom.

As Heard continues to spark outrage and negative backlash, her attorney, Elaine Bredehoft, has garnered a surge of support from Depp fans, who see the Aquaman actress’ case as untenable.

Words of encouragement for Bredehoft online grew after Amber’s testimony Tuesday, in which the lawyer struggled during questioning.

As Bredehoft questioned Heard on her final day on the witness stand, Depp’s meticulous attorney, Camille Vasquez, contradicted every other question Bredehof tried to ask.

Vasquez’s objections were upheld several times by the judge who preceded the high-profile case, prompting Bredehoft to stand in the middle of the issue several times.

“I’m trying here, I’m trying…” Bredehoft said, and let out a frustrated sigh.

TikTok users sympathized with the attorney, claiming that Heard’s declining reputation could also cost the veteran attorney’s career.

“She looks like she’s crying. Actually it’s sad. Amber heard she most certainly ruined her career,” one user commented on a post of Tuesday’s interaction in court.

Others agreed that despite viral footage of Bredehoft seemingly failing to salvage Heard’s case, she’s likely an experienced attorney.

“Overall she’s probably a great attorney, it’s just hard to defend someone who is guilty,” Kaitlynn Bond wrote on TikTok.

Last Monday, Heard’s reputation was further damaged when she finally admitted failing to pay her promised $3.5 million donation to the ACLU after claiming to have made the contribution.

Heard said it was Depp, who sued her, who kept her from fulfilling her promise to donate her entire $7 million divorce settlement.

However, Heard has claimed several times – including under oath in Depp’s 2020 UK defamation case – that she donated the entire settlement to charity.

While Depp’s fans are poised to clear up Heard’s alleged abuse of Depp, they haven’t attacked Bredehoft’s integrity.

“Honestly, she’s not a bad person. She was one of the first to come in yesterday and today and she smiled at us. I have to acknowledge that,” wrote someone claiming to be in court on Tuesday on TikTok.

Bredehoft has practiced law in Virginia, the District of Columbia and Maryland since 1984.

She is well-respected in the metropolitan area and her career has been recognized on a number of occasions over the course of her many years of service.

Bredehoft was named Virginia’s Legal Elite and one of Virginia’s most influential women by Virginia Lawyers Weekly. Their website also claims that Bredehoft has been included in The Best Lawyers in America every year since 1997.
