Jonathan Huberdeau cleared again, but the Flames won against the Panthers

Jonathan Huberdeau extended his losing streak, but at least the Flames won 3-1 against his former team, the Florida Panthers, on Monday night in Calgary.

The Quebecer had three shots on goal but still had to miss the ninth game in a row.

In contrast to Huberdeau, Martin Pospisil, Mikael Backlund and Blake Coleman scored for the Flames.

Sam Reinhart responded for the Panthers on the power play.

In front of the Flames' goal, Jacob Markstrom made 33 saves in his first start in more than two weeks. He has had to take a break since December 3rd due to an injury.

At the other end of the ice, Anthony Stolarz stopped 22 pucks.

Huberdeau has just 15 points since the start of the season.
