Jonathan Majors: After arrest, Marvel actor is accused by other celebrities "sociopath" It is "violent" I love cinema

Last week, Majors was arrested by the NYPD for assaulting his girlfriend.

Things seem to get even more complicated for the Marvel actor after AntMan and the Wasp: Quantumania star Jonathan Majors was arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend.

That’s because the CBR website recently shared that Majors has been called a “sociopath” and “abusive” by some Hollywood peers — like Alan Ball, director responsible for the feature film Uncle Frank. On his Twitter, Ball exposed Jonathan through posts that initially didn’t reveal names. After the actor’s arrest, the filmmaker confirmed that he was referring to majors in his posts.

“There is one actor in particular, relatively new to the scene, who has fallen madly in love with Twitter and who is actually a vicious, cruel and abusive person, both professionally and in his personal life, and every new tweet about success from him makes me crazy,” Ball shared in February of this year.

Also, Alan wasn’t the only famous person to voice his opinions about Kang’s interpreter. For the record, Broadway director Tim Nicolai supported all claims of Jonathan’s problematic behavior, stating that the actor’s damaging personality was already present since his days at Yale University.

“I’m just going to say this about Jonathan Majors and summarize it: The people of Yale and the wider New York community have known him for years. He’s a sociopath and an abuser, and pretty much everyone talks about him that way. It’s a shame it took him so long to be denounced,” Nicolai also posted on Twitter.

For those who haven’t been following the case, Jonathan was arrested by the New York Police Department over an incident that occurred while he and his girlfriend were returning home after a night out at a Brooklyn bar. The Marvel star and his partner started a discussion, with reports suggesting the actor grabbed the woman by the neck and slapped her across the face. The victim was later taken to hospital for treatment of his injuries. Majors was charged by prosecutors with assault, aggravated harassment and attempted assault. He was released without bail on Saturday night (25th) and is due to appear in court in May.

Through his legal team, the star has vehemently denied all the allegations made, with his defense attorney Priya Chaudhry claiming the actor’s girlfriend reportedly issued two written statements retracting the allegations. Additionally, Chaudhry said there is video footage of the vehicle in which the argument took place, as well as testimonies from the driver and others who saw the incident, exonerating the actor.

AntMan 3: Quantumania falls sharply at the box office and becomes a problem for Marvel
