Jonathan Majors was found guilty of negligent bodily harm and thirddegree harassment at trial on Monday (18). He was acquitted of thirddegree intentional assault and aggravated harassment.

A sixperson jury reached its verdict after three days of deliberations. The sentence is expected to be imposed on February 6, 2024.

That's when, Majors said, he called the police after finding her unconscious in his apartment.

Agents arrested the actor after finding injuries to Jabbari, such as an injury behind his ear and a broken finger. He maintained his innocence on all charges.

At trial, she claimed that her injuries were caused by the actor during a car fight that same day.

Jabbari worked as a movement trainer on “Quantumania”. The couple met while recording.

The 34yearold American stood out in the independent film “The Last Black Man in San Francisco” (2019). He then also starred in Spike Lee's “Blood Detachment” (2020) and the series “Lovecraft Country”.

In December 2020, he was announced as Kang, the next big villain in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). He has since played versions of the characters in Quantumania and both seasons of Loki.

In an interview with g1, the series' producer Kevin Wright said that the allegations against the actor had no impact on production planning.

“As far as our show goes, we wrote and told our story. Jonathan was a part of that and I think we were very lucky. We didn’t have to reshoot anything beyond schedule.”
