The 49-year-old A Place In The Sun presenter took to Instagram to praise the NHS after undergoing MRI and CT scans to monitor his illness.
Jonnie, who is battling the disease after his first diagnosis in 2020, was surprised to find his check-up took place in an unusual location rather than a hospital.
He shared on his social media that he was scanned with handheld scanners located in a nearby leisure center parking lot.

The TV star is bravely battling the terminal illness after being diagnosed with lung cancer in 2020, which has since spread to his brain.
Jonnie appeared on BBC Morning Live earlier this month to give fans a health update and talk about the importance of palliative care.
Jonnie previously admitted the pain can get so bad that he seeks comfort in a hospice and doesn’t want his family to see him suffer.

The presenter also spoke about his decision to keep his battle with cancer a secret from his children.
“I keep getting asked, ‘Are you going to tell them?’ but tell them what? “It would be terrible news that they would have to change their minds,” he said.
