“I actually had a great experience. We were able to park almost outside the front door without having to queue and were done and dusty in less than 15 minutes. Well done #nhs.’

Fans were quick to send their congratulations below the post, with one writing: “You look really great Jonnie. Keep fighting all your fans have their hands on your back.”

A second commented: “Looks really good Johnnie seriously. Hope you had a nice break.’

Someone else wrote: “I’m so glad everything went well and it was a positive experience for you!” “Scanxiety is a real thing, I know that from experience, but having good experiences certainly helps in future ones scanning.”

A fourth backer typed, “You look great. Good luck getting it under control.”

This comes after Jonnie spent some quality time with his family over the weekend amid his battle with terminal cancer.

The TV personality was vacationing with wife Jessica Holmes, 40, and their three young children Rex, four, and twins Rafa and Cormac, two.

Jonnie shared a series of photos from their wonderful holiday that left him smiling broadly.

Collecting precious memories from the family vacation, Jonnie photographed his three children lined up in colorful swimwear, inflatable armbands and even a shark fin, ready to swim.

The Escape To The Country host also shared a snap of the family sitting at a dining table enjoying a feast with loved ones.

Elsewhere, his wife Jessica relaxed with a drink in hand on the grass by the pool while one of their young twins played next to her.

Jonnie captioned his heartwarming upload: “Best weather, best fun and very best people for a few days vacation.”

The TV star is bravely battling the terminal illness after being diagnosed with lung cancer in 2020, which has since spread to his brain.

Jonnie appeared on BBC Morning Live earlier this month to give fans a health update and talk about the importance of palliative care.

Jonnie previously admitted the pain can get so bad that he seeks comfort in a hospice and doesn’t want his family to see him suffer.

In conversation with Hello! He explained to the magazine, “I move away several times because it doesn’t do me any good to be around when I’m in pain.”

“I’m like a bear with a sore head and I don’t want them around.”

Commenting on his death, the father of three added: “It can happen at any time. I’m here to stop it for as long as possible.”

The presenter also spoke about his decision to keep his battle with cancer a secret from his children.

“I keep getting asked, ‘Are you going to tell them?’ but tell them what? “It would be terrible news that they would have to change their minds,” he said.

“And it would confuse Rex deeply – he has a pretty shocking day ahead of him.” “Let’s bury our heads in the sand for as long as we can.”
