The veteran strategist stated that he is fully focused on the top team and all the challenges they face in the upcoming season. Furthermore, he hinted that he would feel bad if he took over the technical management from Blanquirroja.

“My head is on Universitario, and that’s it, because these comments and rumors are not from now. I always tried to empathize 100% with Universitario. I would have felt very bad,” he said.
