Two days after being released by the New York Yankees, Josh Donaldson found a new team on Thursday.
The infielder signed a minor league contract with the Milwaukee Brewers. He will play with the Nashville Sounds at the AAA level.
The 37-year-old veteran struggled in his second season with the Bronx Bombers. In 33 games, he maintained a very low .142 batting average. He scored 15 points and scored 13 points.
Additionally, Donaldson suffered from a calf injury that caused him to miss many games.
The man who played primarily third base throughout his career started it with the Oakland Athletics in 2010. He then wore the colors of the Toronto Blue Jays (2015 to 2018), Cleveland Indians (2018), Atlanta Braves (2019) and Minnesota Twins (2020 to 2021).
He had his best season with the Queen City team in 2015. He then received the title of MVP of the American League.
