In 2023-2024, the Saint-Georges-De-Beauce native will play his first full season in professional ice hockey. He seems to have made a good first impression on head coach Martin St-Louis.

“I think he gives us good minutes,” the pilot said about him on Tuesday after the Canadian’s training session. He has good intelligence on the ice. I'm very satisfied.”

With the Rocket, Roy scored 12 goals and 18 assists for 30 points in 34 games. He was selected by Bleu-Blanc-Rouge in the fifth round (150th overall) of the 2021 draft.

The Laval team will be in action against the Utica Comets on Wednesday night at Place Bell.
