The hosts prevailed 5-4 at the Agnico Eagle Center thanks to shootout successes from Justin Robidas and Kale McCallum.
The Foreurs achieved this victory thanks to their relentlessness. They were 4-1 down after just under 38 minutes but fought back three times to force an overtime.
Alexandre Doucet was once again an integral part of his team’s victory with two goals and an assist. He is the top scorer at the Courteau Circuit with 22 goals, two goals ahead of his opponent of the day Justin Gill.
Doucet is also the league’s second-best scorer but is 10 points behind the Halifax Mooseheads’ Jordan Dumais.
Charles-Antoine Beauregard and Louis Robin also threaded the needle for the foreurs.
As for her, the Phoenix attack was carried at a distance by Roy. After being involved in Milo Roelens’ 11th goal of the season, the Beauceron twice flashed red lights. Anthony Munroe-Boucher completed the goal for the visitors.
Roy has scored 17 goals and 38 points in 23 games this season.
