Joss Stone will replace singer Liam Payne on The Town. The announcement was made on Monday night (28).
“For the last week I’ve been in the hospital with a serious kidney infection that I wouldn’t wish on anyone and the doctors are telling me I need to rest and recover now,” Payne said on his Instagram profile last week.
As a soul singer, Stone is known for hits like “Super Duper Love”, “Right To Be Wrong” and “Free Me”.
The artist concludes his twodecade career this year and comes to Brazil for the sixth time. Last year, on her last visit to the country, she gave an interview to g1 in which she said: “The difference between Brazilians and the rest of the world is the animation.”
The Town takes place on September 2nd, 3rd, 7th, 9th and 10th at the Interlagos Circuit in São Paulo.
Tickets are sold on the event’s official website. The daily rate is R$815 for full price and R$407.50 for half price. You can purchase up to four tickets per festival day per CPF, at a maximum of half price.
