journalist from "The beach bar" attacks Salvador Heresi: "Peru deserves much better."

Far from the good football presence that he lives Barcelona FC in the Spanish league, the club faced with a case of corruption for paying €1.4 million to José María Enríquez Negreira between 2016 and 2018 when he was Vice-President of the Technical Committee of Arbitrators (CTA). According to the newspaper El País, the prosecutor’s office will charge “Barza” with corruption in sport and unfair administration. In the face of this legal mess, various characters linked to the Spanish club have emerged in Barcelona’s defense. One of them was the communicator Jota Jordi, who participates in the “El Chiringuito” program.

Since the payment for advice to former referees broke, Jota Jordi has taken to his social media to speak out about the Negreira case in favor of Barcelona. However, in one of his posts, former mayor of San Miguel Salvador Heresi insulted him and the journalist did not hesitate to respond.

“I’m glad that the Negreira case is coming to an end. That it will be shown that Barca have been deceived and are the victims of an alleged fraudster. That Barça “sought” at most neutrality due to the obvious favoritism Madrid has received throughout history, the Spanish communicator published on his Twitter account.

Salvador Heresi reacted to this tweet and insulted him. “Asshole to a thousand. In other words, the poor people of FC Barcelona paid millions for “neutrality”. Being a fan is not the same as being an idiot,” wrote the Peruvian lawyer.

Faced with the Heresi attack, the Spaniard did not hesitate to reply and criticize the country’s officials. “A justice minister and vice president of the Peruvian government who directly insults? Peru, without a doubt, deserves something much better. I embrace Peru,” he said.

In this way now the FC Barcelona is threatened with corruption allegations by the Spanish public prosecutor because of the different payments to the former referee Enríquez Negreira. The complaint is also aimed at Josep María Bartomeu, who was president of the Catalan squad at the time, and part of his management team.

Why did FC Barcelona pay ex-referee Enríquez Negreira?

In a statement, FC Barcelona clarified that payments to José María Enríquez Negreira were granted for consulting services, particularly technical reports on lower-category players, but also for professional arbitration. However, in his first statement, the former referee claimed that Barcelona paid him to conduct neutral arbitrations so that no decisions would be taken against him.
