A war correspondent for the 24-hour news channel CNN experienced a horrific moment live on Monday.

Clarissa Ward, who has reported on the conflicts in Afghanistan and Ukraine, among other things, had to lie on the ground near the Gaza Strip.
Rocket fire on the Jewish state threatened his safety and that of his team.

“Gaza is in this direction. We can hear multiple military aircraft, we can hear the Iron Dome intercepting many of these missiles,” she said breathlessly.
