Sporting Cristal threw a goal party in Tarapoto after beating Unión Comercio 6-1 on day two of the Apertura tournament. The teams led by Tiago Nunes returned to victory in the first division after five games in a row.
The Río team needed less than a minute after the start of the game to reduce the deficit to 0-0 thanks to an own goal from Hervé Kambou, who scored his own goal after trying to save a cross João Grimaldo.
