Amazon has hit the jackpot by adding the comedy starring two of Hollywood’s most popular actresses, Julia Roberts and Jennifer Aniston, to its list of upcoming movies.

The as yet untitled comedy will be written and directed by Max Barbakow – the director of the Palm Springs film – and produced by LuckyChap Entertainment, the production company of Australian actress Margot Robbie.
We still know very little about this film, which will bring the two actresses aged 55 (Julia Roberts) and 53 (Jennifer Aniston) together for the first time on the big screen, other than that it will be a Freaky Friday-style comedy ( In the Skin of My Mother), in which the character of the teenage daughter (played by Lindsay Lohan) finds herself in the body of her mother (Jamie Lee Curtis) and vice versa.
With the recent surprise hits of the films Ticket to Paradise, starring George Clooney and Julia Roberts, and The Lost City, starring Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum, there is every indication that there is a demand for this type of light-hearted comedy starring well-known stars in Hollywood -comedies.
CAA (representing the two actresses) negotiated the sale to Amazon.
