Julia Roberts was every bit the pretty woman on Wednesday night as she celebrated the UK release of new film Leave The World Behind in London.
On a freezing evening in London, the Oscar-winning actress, 56, warmed up the proceedings in a thigh-length miniskirt and sparkling silver-embellished heels as she greeted fans outside the Curzon Mayfair.
A powder pink double-breasted blazer completed the look, while a diamond-encrusted necklace complemented her statement footwear as she entered the venue.
Roberts was joined by co-star Myha’la Herrold and director Sam Esmail at the Curzon Mayfair before the psychological thriller officially hits cinemas in the UK on December 8th.
But the actress, who is also co-producing her latest film, had to do without her fellow actors Kevin Bacon, Ethan Hawke and Mahershala Ali.

Roberts says her new film is a multi-layered disaster thriller that allows her to play someone very different from herself.
Former US President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama served as executive producers. Mr. Robot creator Esmail wrote and directed the film. The film is based on the bestselling novel of the same name by Rumaan Alam.
It’s about how Roberts’ character Amanda, her husband and their two children go on a spontaneous vacation to a small town on Long Island.
Their escape is interrupted when a man and his daughter, played by Mahershala Ali and Myha’la Herrold, show up on their doorstep claiming to be the owners of the upscale property and asking to stay the night.
As tensions rise between the two families, strange events begin to happen around them and they find themselves under one roof, trying to make sense of the chaos outside.
“In each scene, there are always about 17.5 things happening at the same time for each person.” “It was just all layers of people and the circumstances,” Roberts told Portal at the film’s premiere in London on Wednesday.
The Hollywood star appreciated the challenge of playing the cynical advertising director Amanda.
“Just the idea of playing someone who’s naturally suspicious and a little touchy, which isn’t my nature, but still making her human and relatable and likeable.”

Fans of Alam’s book should not expect a faithful adaptation, Esmail warned.
“Something that works in a literary medium may not work in a cinematic medium.” I was very open with Rumaan that I would really take liberties with the interpretation.
“I went through all the ideas, he was on board, and then I think in a lot of ways we both got what we wanted because his book and the film are kind of two separate pieces that kind of operate independently of each other.”
The actress celebrated the release of her new film after sharing a rare photo of herself with her twins Hazel and Phinneas.
On the occasion of her 19th birthday this Tuesday, she uploaded a black and white childhood throwback with her little bundles of joy.
Both twins were safely in their mother’s arms and sitting on her lap.
“There are no words for the joy, the fun, the wild hustle and bustle of life together,” the proud mother wrote heartwarmingly in her caption.
The Pretty Woman star shares her twins and 16-year-old Henry with her second husband, cinematographer Daniel Moder.
Julia and Daniel celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary on July 4 last year after tying the knot on Independence Day 2002 at their ranch in New Mexico.
In an interview a few months after their milestone anniversary, Julia gave a hint as to why her marriage has proven so successful.
“I always say the same thing and stick to it,” the Hollywood superstar told E! News. “It’s messing around. Lots of making out.’
Don’t mind me: But the Oscar-winning actress was hard to miss during her last public appearance in London

She gave the interview alongside her Ticket To Paradise co-star George Clooney, who joked: “I make out with Danny too.”
During the same promotional tour, Julia and George appeared on the Today show, where she shared her thoughts on motherhood.
Julia presented her theory that children “have chosen us in this moment to be their stewards and shepherds in this life experience.”
She met her husband “when I was ready,” after which “you bring these children into your life when we are ready to work with them in the best possible way.”
The “Eat Pray Love” star admitted: “Sometimes the fear of messing up gets to me, and sometimes I’ve just said to my kids, ‘Well, today, me as a mom, can we just – can we just take this off.’ ?” The boards? Because I screwed up.
