Are you still looking for the perfect Christmas gift to surprise your loved ones? Have you considered a step-by-step reenactment of a popular Julia Stiles dance number? Because Chloe Fineman definitely did.

During the December 9 episode of Saturday Night Live, Stiles stopped by the “Weekend Update” desk with a very special gift guide suggestion.

“I just have a sexy gift idea and I have to demonstrate it somehow,” Fineman said to news anchor Colin Jost's slight chagrin at the start of the sketch. “The sexiest gift you can give your partner is trying something new in the bedroom.”

As Jost watched with concern for his audience, his co-host Michael Che pulled out a bucket of popcorn just in time for Fineman to show off her amazing dancing skills.

“The perfect Christmas present this year is the dance that Julia Stiles does at the end of the 2001 film Save the Last Dance,” she announced before demanding “Hang it” and starting dancing.

With black leotard, sweatpants and all, Fineman recreated the hip-hop-influenced ballet number in the film's finale. She also teamed up with Che to provide Jost with much-needed context from the film, which also stars Sean Patrick Thomas, and summarized its plot, in which a Midwestern dancer, Sara (Stiles), encounters the south side of Chicago, where she expands her dance repertoire to include hip-hop just in time for her second attempt at a Juilliard audition.

By the time they're done recapping, Jost is so engaged that he asks whether or not Sara passed her last audition – and who better to answer that question than Julia Stiles herself?

“Yeah,” Stiles shouts, jumping into the frame in an outfit that matches Fineman’s. “Sara got into Juilliard.”

Of course, this required Stiles and Fineman to work together and demonstrate the rest of Sara's Juilliard-worthy performance from their respective chairs. In the end, the street ballet performance received recognition again.

“I can’t say officially yet, but welcome to Juilliard,” Jost announced at the end of the sketch.

Apparently Stiles is taking big steps down memory lane this week. On Wednesday, she paid tribute to another one of her beloved films while speaking at the Mash-Up Americans Book Festival in New York City. A touching clip shared on Instagram shows her reenacting the scene in which she recites the love poem her character Kat Stratford writes to Heath Ledger's Patrick Verona in the teen comedy 10 Things I Hate About You .

Stiles even got emotional as he said the line that famously brought Kat to tears: “But most of all, I hate the way I don't hate you, not even close, not even a little, not even at all.”
