CarsonLife and its CEO Sonia Guzmán have since faced legal issues Prado Law Offices – led by Mr. Edwin Prado – filed a million dollar lawsuit against the natural products company for breach of contract, including the manager, on behalf of their client, the actor and moderator Julian Gil. The appeal was lodged by Mr. Prado in a court in the southern United States Florida.
Prado reported that “Ms. Sonia Guzmán and the company Carson Life Inc. have been duly subpoenaed”.
Carson Life and its CEO Sonia Guzmán approached the international artist eight years ago with the intention of using his image in advertising campaigns to promote the company’s products.
“Our representative fully complied as an ambassador for the Carson Life brand. He made many promotional trips to cities in the United States and Puerto Rico as a spokesman for the personal care line, but the existing contract was broken,” Prado said in written statements.
In this sense, the lawyer clarified that his client Julián Gil “has responded with professionalism to every policy and request for promotion made by the Carson Life company. It is the company’s responsibility to live up to its responsibilities.
“My client has enabled Carson Life to position itself from the outset as a leader in promoting general wellness and physical health with the products it offers, adding to its prestige and credibility with the Spanish-speaking public,” added the lawyer added.
“After eight years of Julián Gil’s professional relationship with Mrs. Sonia Guzmán and Carson Life, they broke Julián’s contract,” Prado pointed out.
The lawsuit is valued at $5 million and the case is scheduled to appear in court in Miami, Dade County, Florida on June 9, 2022.
