Juliana Alves at the time of “BBB3”
— I am proud of my participation. I think that there I managed to achieve a balance, a gentleness and a rare inner peace (laughs). It wasn’t forced, it was something natural. I didn’t know how to speak, but my expression was so compassionate that they used it against me while I was in detention. I was very innocent, but I wouldn’t have it any other way he says.
Of the 14 maternity colleagues, Juliana has no contact with anyone other than Sabrina Sato, even if she does not have a constant relationship with the presenter. A few months after the show, she debuted in soap operas by playing Selma in Chocolate com Pepper (2003).
The artist admits that after taking part in a reality show, she realized that people were looking at her the wrong way when she became a professional actress.
— Of course, a black woman already faces a barrier. Imagine that this barrier is often justified because the origin is a reality. I noticed the stares, the noninvitations… I always thought that this wouldn’t limit my trajectory. I knew I had to learn to overcome these prejudices. I didn’t have any respect at first, on the contrary. The feeling of being a respected artist is something very new emphasizes Juliana.

With the rise of reality TV, many former contestants are ready to face prison time again. But Juliana doesn’t want to face this challenge again.
— I wouldn’t take part again. I am outside! Don’t call me reality because I don’t like competition. I think we have no control. But if I were to go again I would never be a plant because I say what I think. It wouldn’t be a hut either, no, contrary to what many people believe, he emphasizes.
