As the plan begins to unfold, the lies begin to catch up with the characters, and their ambitions for money and power may be overshadowed by lust and jealousy.
The film’s official description reads: In New York City’s bedrooms, bar rooms and boardrooms, no one is who they appear to be. Characters compete for wealth and power in a high-stakes game of ambition, greed, lust and jealousy.
Directed by Emmy-winning director Benjamin Caron (The Crown, Andor, Sherlock), it is described as a neo-noir thriller.

He told PEOPLE that the film “is inspired by a long line of great films that keep audiences guessing to the end, including The Usual Suspects, House of Games, Klute, Drive, The Thomas Crown Affair, The Color of Money ‘The Sting and More.’
The film is being produced by Julianne along with Erik Feig, Jessica Switch, Bart Freundlich and screenwriters Brian Gatewood and Alessandro Tanaka. Julia Hammer and Amy Herman serve as executive producers.
Sharper is scheduled to release on Apple TV Plus on Friday February 10th.
