Julie Bishop has revealed a dramatic hair change, but some of her fans aren't impressed with the new look.
On Wednesday, the 67-year-old former foreign minister proudly showed off her choppy new hairstyle on Instagram as she dined with two friends at Chiswick restaurant in Sydney's Woollahra.
Cut into voluminous eighties-style bangs, Julie's new platinum locks completely cover her forehead and look worlds different than her usual polished and shiny fringe bob.
Several of Julie's fans weren't a fan of the noticeably different 'do.
“I'm not so sure about the hairstyle Julie,” one wrote.

Julie simply responded with a shrugging emoji and didn't seem bothered by the critical remark.
Another Instagram user went further, writing: “Dear Julie Bishop, you always look stunning but those praising your new hairstyle are doing you a disservice… I apologize in advance BUT the disheveled look is… oh well , disheveled!” You paid a hairdresser? Hmmm.'
A quick-witted Julie clapped back at the remark, writing: “I love change so I'll change it again sometime!” followed by a laughing emoji and clapping hands.
Despite the criticism, other fans praised her new look and left positive comments on her hair and her chic white shirt dress from Mara Collective.
