Julie Perréault was with the presenter on the show Sucré Salé Melanie Maynard.
During her attendance at the quintessential summer television gathering, the busy actress rebelled against what she describes as “damn newspapers of stupidity.”
In fact, it seems that one of the reasons Julie Perreault is giving fewer interviews is that some publications then repeat phrases or remarks that they feel are too often taken out of context.
“It’s a real privilege to have you at Sucré Salé because we don’t see you often in the shows anymore (…) Is it because you care about your image?” Mélanie asks below.
“No, well no,” Julie replies first, before specifying:
“(…) do you know what bothers me? It’s the damn silly newspapers that pick up a sentence taken out of context that embarrasses us. It really bothers me, it annoys me.”

“But at the same time, when you know that the game as a whole is that, you know very well that none of that is true. It’s the game of social networks,” adds the moderator, who seems much less bothered by the phenomenon.
“Well no! I think people think it’s true, insist, and then sign the amazing actress.
“You think it’s cash?” Maynard asks.
“Ah yes!” Perreault then assures.
At that moment, the star even gets up from her seat to speak directly to the audience in front of Mélanie’s camera.
“Dear audience, if you (…) read like: She’s expanding her family!, then she has bad news! or sensational titles, that’s nothing at all, as Edith Piaf would say,” she begins confidently and with conviction.
Mélanie then admits to having clicked on some of these articles anyway, visibly amused by this type of content, and in the same breath asks her interlocutor if she is doing the same.
“But we’re clicking the same thing, aren’t we? (…) Me, I click!” Maynard begins with his usual great frankness.
“Well… yes,” Perreault finally admits.
“You too, you click!” insists the host.
“…because I want to see how much the person has them…they’ve gone too far,” the actress explains, then wraps up.
