Julien Lacroix has continued to launch new projects since returning to the spotlight a few months ago. The 30-year-old comedian has announced plans to launch a web series and podcast. Both are only available if you pay for a subscription on the Patreon platform.
In the summer of 2022, Julien Lacroix directed a nine-episode miniseries “for the sheer pleasure of it.” The comedian explained on social media that he “did this project without ambition because it [lui] Could not be created.
Recall that Julien Lacroix was the victim of allegations of sexual assault and misconduct in July 2020, then at the height of his popularity and during his first solo exhibition. He had retired from public life.
The mini-series he shot last year never thought of publishing it. “But lately I’ve started editing again and I’m very happy with the result.”
So here he offers Pongo, a web series “made with very few resources, but I admit that it makes me laugh a lot”.
“Pongo is Pat Kirouak’s quest for happiness,” he explains. This self-proclaimed influencer decides to give up everything to travel across Canada in #vanlife.
The web series, as well as a new podcast and excerpts from the shows, are available on Patreon. Subscribers have monthly packages ranging from $4 to $12 to access unreleased material.
