This Monday (13) exBBB Juliette announced the end of her professional partnership with the company Rodamoinho founded by singer Anitta. The connection between the “BBB 21” champion and the company began in 2021, shortly after her exit from the reality show.

The 33yearold from Paraíba signed a contract with the funk singer’s holding company and released a sixsong EP with the support of the agency and the producer.

“We inform you that, following a mutual decision (from January 12, 2024), Rodamoinho will not represent the singer Juliette commercially and artistically. We thank the artist, the partners and the team for the trust, respect and friendship gained during this partnership. Team Rodamoinho,” reads the statement published on the artist and company’s social networks.

The partnership ended due to allegations of plagiarism regarding Juliette’s work. The former BBB’s first album (titled “Juliette”) was released on digital platforms in 2021 amid accusations that the singer had copied the cover image of the single “Indestructível” by Pabllo Vittar.

In the same work, Juliette was accused of plagiarizing the titles of the band Boogarins’ songs. Three of the six tracks on the album had the same names as songs by the group from Goiás.

Another moment that did not go down well with Juliette was the release of the song “Almost no dating” with Marina Sena. The comparison with the image from the launch of Manu Gavassi’s visual album was inevitable. And again there were accusations of plagiarism.

Recently, Juliette and Duda Beat were accused of plagiarizing rapper Emicida after releasing the song “Magia Amarela,” which was part of an advertising campaign for a food brand. According to businessman, producer and musician Evandro Fióti, Emicida’s brother, the song shares similarities with the São Paulo rapper’s music and visual project “AmarElo”.

Evandro said the work involves “appropriation and plagiarism” of this project and shows the “lack of ethics in this (music) market.” Following the fallout from the case, the production was eventually taken off the air and the advertising campaign was canceled.
