Guadalajara.- Julión Álvarez is back in the United States and celebrating it at Disney with his daughters María Isabel and María Julia.
Although the regional Mexican music singer was cleared of all investigations and removed from the blacklist of the neighboring country’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) last May, the approval of his visa and that of his family was recently cleared.
At the end of June, the famous man was spotted at the United States Consulate General in Guadalajara and yesterday he shared a video on his social networks with his followers from Santa Monica, California, to share the good news.
“To let you know that we welcome you from California, from Santa Monica. Julión Álvarez and his Norteño Band are back in the United States,” he said in the clip.
In 2017, the interpreter of “Te Hubieras Ido Antes” was linked to a drug money laundering network by the US, for which legal investigations were launched, and by Mexico and the US, where he was banned for five years until acquitted of all charges last May.
Now that he’s back in the north of the country, he’s expected to return to the stage there soon.
