The Helvetians then woke up and were particularly happy about the great performance of their captain Jonas Taibel. The latter scored a goal and three assists in his team's victory.

He also scored the winning goal midway through the second period, thanks to a wrist shot that ended up in the left corner of goalkeeper Markus Stensrud.

Rodwin Dionicio (two goals), Miles Muller (two assists), Simone Terraneo (two assists) and Daniil Ustinkov (two assists) all had two points. Thierry Schild, Leo Braillard and Simon Meier are the other Swiss players who give the red light.

This victory was the first of the tournament for the Swiss (1-0-0-2). On Sunday they face the Czech Republic in their final game of the group stage. The Norwegians ended their trip with a record of 0-0-0-4.
