The offensive successes of Nick Suzuki and Juraj Slafkovsky continued in the Montreal Canadiens' 5-0 victory over the Anahein Ducks on Tuesday night at the Bell Centre.
In a two-on-one situation in the second period, Juraj Slafkovsky delivered a great pass to Nick Suzuki, who then sent the puck into Lukas Dostal's goal. The connection between the two players continued on the power play a few minutes later.
After a moment of confusion in front of the Ducks goalkeeper's goal, Slafkovsky retrieved the disc before handing it to his captain, who asked for nothing more to send it into the back of the net for their own 3-0 lead.
In the last game the roles were reversed when the Slovakian scored his eleventh goal of the season after an assist from Suzuki. Both players ended their evening with three points.
In playing a part in the No. 14 Habs' first win, Slafkovsky tied Doug Wickenheiser for the longest streak of games (six) with at least one point for a skater 19 years old or younger.

As a result, Suzuki collected a point for the eighth consecutive game, his longest streak since joining the National Hockey League (NHL) in the 2019–20 season.
Jake Evans scored the first goal for the Montreal club at the start of the second period.
Brandon Gignac scored his first NHL goal by accepting a pass from Kaiden Guhle as the two players appeared alone in front of Dostal at the end of the third period.
In the win, Cayden Primeau, starting for the first time since Jan. 18, made 13 saves for his first shutout of the season.
This is also only the second time since the start of the season that Martin St. Louis' men have allowed fewer than two goals in a game.
The Bleu-Blanc-Rouge will be back in action on Thursday against the Rangers in New York.
