What is Lyme disease?
It’s a bacterial infection caused by a tick bite. Although some sufferers get over antibiotics in a short time, symptoms usually persist for years.
The disease is incurable and manifests itself in muscle pain, joint pain, fever, fatigue, chills, headache and swollen lymph nodes. It also spreads to the nervous system.
Other celebrities living with Lyme disease include Thalia, Avril Lavigne, Bella Hadid and Richard Gere.
